This planned 5.280-mile loop through the heart of Denver will bring together a signature walking, bicycling, and rolling circuit that connects community landmarks and public spaces throughout the city's core. On this tour, learn about upcoming plans for the 5280 Trail, as well as work already completed, including public art and placemaking projects, wayfinding, and quick-build connections.
The trail is a connector of multiple other plans and projects. Along the tour, highlights include the 16th Street Mall reconstruction, Wynkoop shared street vision, and the new Auraria Campus Master Plan, which envisions a campus more integrated with downtown Denver. Additionally, the downtown area plan is in its final stages and attendees learn about input and key ideas that will drive the future of downtown Denver in relation to the trail, mobility, investments, and placemaking.
