Rev. Jessica Abell, MDiv, MCRP, Founding Pastor Living Waters Community Church, Denver.
Jessica Abell grew up in Memphis, TN, and has a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning and a Master’s of Divinity, or as a friend says, “Jessica. She has both Kingdoms covered.” She is now earning a Doctorate from a small seminary in Memphis about the barriers to climate adaptation, including the impacts of our lack of lament and grief, our protective modes of deflection and mild denial, and how policy interacts with all of it. Jessica is wholly committed to interdisciplinary and interfaith relations, especially concerning common stewardship of the earth. She has worked for both GreenFaith and Interfaith Power & Light, religious interfaith responses to life in a changed world.
