25 years of experience as a professional engineer, geologist, and application founder with an emphasis on developing resilient infrastructure paradigms to protect against acute natural, and chronic anthropogenic, hazards. The common denominator of my early work was on the technical design and construction management of large infrastructure projects along the Colorado Front Range. Then changing to a broader view of infrastructure sustainability in urban contexts with a focus of paradigm changing from business-as-usual to long-term viability. This broader view is represented by a series of spatial products that view regional infrastructure vulnerabilities to natural hazards; local distributive infrastructure vulnerabilities to chronic hazards; and how best to install new infrastructure considering existing infrastructure, communities, and culutural locations.
