Lian Plass is the Vice Chair of the APA Technology Division and a doctoral student at the University of California, Berkeley, where she studies digital governance, emerging technology in planning, climate resilience, sustainable urban development, and equitable access to resources. She previously served as a Senior Manager for the Urban Resilience program at ULI and Sustainability Administrator for the City of North Miami. Lian has public and private sector experience, managing redevelopment projects and community planning initiatives. She is passionate about applying technology to solve planning problems equitably, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
