Christy Dodson, AICP (she/her/hers)

Christy Dodson, AICP is an Associate Principal at Code Studio, leading the firm’s Atlanta office. Her work focuses on creative zoning strategies that reduce barriers to more equitable, community-driven development outcomes. Christy relies on her architecture experience managing the design and development of adaptive reuse, urban infill, and housing projects to bring together high-level policy goals with practical implementation. She has authored codes adopted by communities across the country that are innovative, user-friendly, and responsive to the unique needs of each place. She regularly teaches professional and graduate-level courses on urban design policy and served as Chair of the City of Atlanta Zoning Review Board from 2019-2022. Christy holds master's degrees in Architecture and City and Regional Planning from Georgia Institute of Technology, where she also received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture.
