Meagan Mullen Booth is a Principal Planner with the Salt Lake City Planning Division, where she focuses on urban planning, community engagement, and historic preservation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Utah.
Meagan is Vice President of the Utah Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA) and serves as Director of Chapter Engagement for the Women in Planning Division. Additionally, she is the Director of Creativity & Professional Affiliations at Youth Engagement Planning (YEP), where she leads programs aimed at engaging youth in urban planning and inspiring them to pursue careers in the field.
Through initiatives like Little City Walks, Meagan helps youth understand the interconnectedness of systems such as transportation, housing, and the environment. These programs aim to foster curiosity, leadership, and an understanding of the role that young people can play in shaping the future of their communities.
Meagan lives in Layton, Utah, with her husband, daughter, cat, and golden retriever. She enjoys calligraphy, painting, playing softball, and participating in high-fitness challenges. Meagan is also actively involved in volunteering, particularly with school children, to positively impact her community.
