Doug Lewis was appointed Painesville City Manager in December, 2021. During the past 17+ years, he served in a number of roles with the City of Painesville before becoming the City Manager, including Assistant City Manager, Infrastructure Director and Community Development Director. He has worked in local government for the past 29 years in Colorado, Florida and Ohio. Doug obtained a B.A. in Political Science from Wittenberg University and his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from The Ohio State University. He has two children, Kendall (10) and Grayson (8), and he resides in Painesville, Ohio.
