Tyce Herrman, AICP, EIT holds an M.C.R.P. from the University of Oregon and worked professionally as a "plangineer", applying data science and data engineering to traditional planning issues. He also holds an M.Eng. in Computer Science from Cornell Tech. He was Head of Product at inCitu, a startup using augmented reality to bring the future of the built environment to life. While there, he developed building permit data pipelines to automatically generate AR scenes, which in turn inspired him to launch Ulama to automate the permitting process through 3D model-based code compliance analysis.
