Sarah Berke

Sarah Berke is Senior Manager for Housing and Livable Communities at the Metropolitan Council, the regional policy-making body, planning agency, and provider of essential services in the Twin Cities 7-county metro area. Berke manages regional housing policy, Livable Communities Act grants, and implementation of a regional PRO Housing award. She joined the Met Council in 2022, with strategic leadership experience in affordable housing policy and community development finance including roles at Family Housing Fund, Minnesota Housing Partnership, and Housing Partnership Network. Berke holds a MPP from the University of Minnesota and is board chair of the NCF Cooperative Loan Fund.
