Christopher Shires, AICP, is a Principal and Vice President with Confluence, Inc., and has over 29 years of city and county planning experience with 18 years of that as a planner and planning manager in the public sector. He is skilled in public engagement, preparing comprehensive plans and corridor plans, and drafting development regulations and design guidelines. Chris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and a member the Nebraska and Iowa Chapters of the American Planning Association (APA) and is currently serving as Chair of Recognition and Awards for the APA Iowa Chapter.
