Nicole Zhi Ling Porter, AICP, is an Associate Analyst at the Sacramento Area Council of Governments. Prior to her time at SACOG, she spent seven years as a community engagement consultant for transportation and land use projects throughout California. She now implements Sustainable Mobility programs and views her role as an opportunity to break down barriers and solve transportation challenges to make life more equitable across the region’s diverse communities. Nicole has a degree in Political Science from UC Davis, serves as the Chair of Young Professionals in Transportation – Sacramento, and holds a black belt in Taekwondo.
