Rosie Ramos, External Relations Group Manager, started at the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) in 2015. Her work over the years has included community outreach and engagement, external relations, and other efforts related to the agency’s Metropolitan Transportation Plan / Sustainable Communities Strategy. She brings perspectives of social justice and equity to all her work. Rosie is committed to changing current planning systems and giving a voice to structurally oppressed communities. She is a first-generation college graduate, earning a BA in Communications and BS in Community & Regional Development from UC Davis.
