Daksha Masurkar is a transportation planner and transit strategist dedicated to advancing equitable and sustainable mobility. Growing up in Mumbai, where transit was essential for daily life, she developed a deep appreciation for the role of public transportation in connecting people to opportunities. This perspective drives her commitment to accessibility-based planning and the integration of land use and transit.

With a background in architecture and a master’s in urban planning from Arizona State University, Daksha has worked across India and the U.S., leading and supporting transit initiatives that shape communities. She specializes in comprehensive transit studies, corridor planning, and microtransit assessments, helping agencies implement impactful mobility solutions. Her expertise in BRT planning has played a key role in advancing Arizona’s first BRT corridor.

Daksha collaborates closely with agencies to understand community needs, navigate technical and operational requirements, and engage stakeholders effectively. Passionate about shaping the future of transit, she brings a strategic and solutions-driven approach to mobility planning.
