Richard Burkhart

Englewood, Colorado

Richard "Karl" is the Senior Landscape Architect for the City and County of Denver's Department of Transportation & Infrastructure's Division of Green Infrastructure. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Frostburg State University and a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Colorado Denver.

He is instrumental in the planning, design and ongoing management of the city's 300 plus Green Infrastructure facilities. His position at DOTI Division of Green Infrastructure allows him to focus on improving the health, performance and future of water in Denver and the Intermountain West region.
