Stephanie Peterson, AICP

Manhattan, KS

Stephanie was hired as the Director of Community Development for the City of Manhattan, Kansas, in May of 2022. Prior to working at the City, she worked in the transportation planning sector for 12 years, both at a metropolitan planning organization and the state department of transportation. Stephanie is a graduate of Kansas State University, with a Master’s in Regional and Community Planning. Stephanie received her AICP in 2015 and is an active member of the Kansas Chapter of the APA. She has served on the Executive Committee since 2011 and is currently the Past President.
