Shopworks Architecture was formed in 2012 by Chad Holtzinger. The primary focus of the firm is urban infill development with a particular interest in affordable housing, transit oriented and mixed use development and community-oriented projects. The practice is actively engaged in researching Dignified Design, and has published and promoted the concepts of Dignity in the Built Environment. Through this framework, the practice at Shopworks serves as both theorist and applied practitioner.
