Rafael Guzman is the Assistant City Manager and Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Riverside. Relying on his extensive experience working as a Planner, Guzman served as principal architect for an award-winning multi-department customer centric initiative called Streamline Riverside, which transformed the delivery of service by fostering greater transparency, eliminating barriers and facilitating record investment. The success of Streamline Riverside and its One Stop Shop has resulted visits from over 200 cities.
Rafael holds a BA in Environmental Analysis from UC Irvine, MS in Environmental Science from SUNY-ESF and recently graduated Harvard University's Bloomberg City Leadership Initiative.
