Ms. Gabriela Juarez is a land use policy planner in the Citywide Policy Bureau for the City of Los Angeles, Department of City Planning. She has several roles and oversees several work programs. She is the Department's Climate Equity Lead where she leads and oversees the City's first Climate Vulnerability Assessment that is focusing on most climate hazard impacted and vulnerable communities within the City, among other citywide policy work such as AAM. Her near 20 years experience in City Planning has spanned long range/advanced planning, project/current planning, policy implementation, code studies and revisions as well as citywide policy.
