Ata Khan

Chino Hills, California

Ata Khan serves as Deputy Director of Development Services for the City of Pomona, a 22-square mile, 150,000-population city 30 miles east of Los Angeles. Ata previously worked in policy planning for the City of Los Angeles and managed a community benefit trust fund for a foundation addressing Port of Los Angeles environmental impacts. Ata has a Bachelor's in Environment, Economics, and Politics from Claremont McKenna College and a Master's of Urban and Regional Planning from UC Irvine. He also is a Lecturer in urban design and demographics at Cal Poly Pomona.
