Christian is an urban planner in the City of Alexandria’s Division of Neighborhood Planning and Community Development where he specializes in designing and managing the Division's community engagement initiatives. Previously Christian was the Interim Director of Community Engagement at the Metropolitan Area Planning Council in Boston, MA, a Regional Planning Agency serving the 101 Communities in Greater Boston. Christian’s work focuses on working with residents, organizations, and municipalities on policies, plans, and ideas that support sustainable communities, engage justice in development, empower stakeholders, and prevent displacement.
