As the Government Affairs and Funding Services Practice Leader for Merrick & Company, Kristina brings more than 15 years of experience in serving diverse communities across the United States, ranging from rural, urban, tribal, municipal, and special districts. She offers advisory services, facilitates consensus building, and advocates for community needs. Kristina assists communities in identifying financial capacity challenges and crafts compelling narratives to obtain external funding sources from nonprofit organizations, federal and state funding agencies, and corporate sponsorships for various projects.
