David Burgy

Astoria, New York

David Burgy, AICP is a Senior Resilience Planner at Stantec and leads projects across the U.S., working at the intersections of climate adaptation and resilience, transportation, and funding. In his more than 12 years of experience, he has supported planning and project development for over 300 projects, including flood risk reduction, stormwater, wastewater, green infrastructure, managed retreat, nature-based solutions, and critical facilities projects. He has successfully applied for over $46 million in funding for projects, obtaining additional funding from HUD, EPA, and NFWF. David has a Masters in City and Regional Planning from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
