Ryan has 20 years of experience supporting local units of government and developers with technical assistance and best practice implementation through land planning, zoning, community engagement, and the use of financial tools to create economically vibrant communities. He has a Masters in Design for Social Innovation from KCAD and a B.A. in Community Development from GVSU.
Ryan is AICP and EFDP certified. He is also the co-author of the Michigan Zoning Reform Toolkit. He serves large urban cities as well as small towns and county levels of government.
