Jace Hochwalt

Grand Junction, Colorado

Jace serves as the Community Development Director for the City of Montrose, Colorado, where he leads the Building and Planning divisions. His responsibilities encompass a wide range of functions, including overseeing current and long-range planning, permitting and inspections, housing initiatives, community engagement, grant management, and downtown revitalization efforts.

He has dedicated the past eight years to serving communities in eastern Washington and western Colorado. Jace has a passion for small-town planning and community development, and he has a strong appreciation for the unique challenges and opportunities that come with fostering growth and vitality in smaller communities.
