Rasika started her foray into planning as a summer intern and was quickly elevated to become a Borough Planner and Urban Designer at the NYC Department of City Planning. She works for the Staten Island Office within the agency, managing projects involving city zoning laws, special district regulations, and the uniform land use review process. Her professional background as an architect and designer equips her with the expertise and abilities needed to conduct technical reviews and analytical research. Her duties also include liaising with community boards and developing urban design recommendations for ongoing neighborhood projects.
