Ken Schroeppel AICP is the Director of the Master of Urban Design (MUD) program in the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Colorado Denver, where he teaches in both the MUD and Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) programs. Ken’s areas of expertise include land use and transportation planning, data visualization and graphic design, urban design and infill development, and Denver’s urban planning and development history. Prior to his joining the full-time faculty in 2012, Ken worked for many years in private practice as a planning consultant and project manager. Ken is well known as the founder and editor of the popular DenverInfill and DenverUrbanism blogs, which offer news, ideas, and commentary on infill development and sustainable urbanism in the Mile High City. His additional interests include international travel, mineral macrophotography, and the Spanish language.
