Chris Nazar, AICP serves as the Transportation Services Group Director at CDM Smith and is based in Denver. Chris has more than 24 years of experience as a lead transportation planner, and project manager for long-range transportation plans and major corridor studies. Mr. Nazar has also led teams of planners, economists, and environmental specialists in the preparation of complex environmental/NEPA documents, statewide transportation plans, freight plans and MPO plans for state DOTs, MPOs and other government and private agencies. His technical specialties include long-range transportation planning and policy, transportation environmental studies, economic analyses, and public involvement. He currently serves as the Transportation Planning Division Liaison with the Colorado Chapter of APA. He has a passion for walking, hiking and transit use in the Denver area.
