Michelle Teller, AICP, is a Principal City Planner with the City and County of Denver’s Community Planning and Development Department, where she focuses on advancing climate change solutions through land use planning and regulatory updates. This includes current projects such as updating citywide requirements to promote more climate resilient landscapes and leveraging grant funds and partnership to create action. With a decade of professional planning experience, Michelle's career has been shaped by her extensive work in parks, recreation, and open space, including system-wide park planning, development review, and site-specific capital projects. In her current role, she leverages her broad expertise in working collaboratively with local neighborhoods, the development community, and special interest groups to identify sustainable planning solutions that meet the needs of the community. Michelle’s ability to bridge the gap between environmental sustainability and local implementation is the foundation of her career, championing meaningful change in the cities she serves.
