Jason Rogers

City Manager of Commerce City Colorado
Parker, Colorado

Mr. Rogers received a Bachelor of Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia. Mr. Rogers has over 22 years of experience in land planning, development, and public administration issues. He has worked on a wide variety of projects in various planning and administrative disciplines (regional, transportation, development review, environmental quality, sustainability, redevelopment, and strategic planning).
Prior to being the City Manager for Commerce City, he was the Deputy City Manager and Community Development Director for the City. Mr. Rogers’s progressive job experience includes employment outside of Colorado in a public and private capacity for communities between 65,000 to 1.1 million people. He is also formerly a sitting member on the State of Colorado’s Water Quality Control Commission which is the administrative agency responsible for developing specific water quality policy in Colorado.
