Heather Vidlock, AICP is the Planning Manager at the City of Commerce City. Heather has 30 years of experience in the Planning profession, primarily in the municipal sector. At Commerce City, Heather oversees the Long Range and Development Review Planning functions and staff planners. She works closely with the Economic Development team and Urban Renewal Authority Director, the Engineering Division and the Parks Department. She also has experience in the private sector with development review and entitlement and federal grants. While at the the City of Greenwood Village, Heather oversaw planning functions and development. She was also a project planner on mixed use, office, residential and commercial developments. Greenwood Village is in the Denver Technological Center and home to many corporate office headquarters as well as having a rich retail base and high end residential. Heather also worked for the Town of Castle Rock on the south end of the Denver metro area and oversaw planning. She was the liaison to the Planning Commision and Historic Preservation Board and worked closely with the Downtown Development Authority. She also set up the Design Review Board for projects in the Historic Downtown.
