Kathleen King is a Principal Planner in the City of Boulder’s Comprehensive Planning division, overseeing long-range planning projects and the Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan. Kathleen is a licensed landscape architect and certified planner with over 15 years of experience working collaboratively with communities across the country to envision and build memorable, inclusive places. Her work strives to integrate natural systems with the built environment to improve quality of life and habitat for all. Kathleen is passionate about the power of data to inform planning and design decisions. She has taught a graduate course called “GIS for Landscape Architecture” at the University of Colorado, Denver and is a regular studio critic at University of Colorado Boulder.
