Sarah Showalter

Denver, Colorado

Sarah Showalter is a city planner with a unique background in planning and urban design. She draws on over 15 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. Sarah has worked for Denver’s Community Planning and Development (CPD) Department for eleven years. In her current role as CPD’s Director of Planning Services, she oversees Denver’s long-range planning and plan implementation. She played a key role in the creation of Blueprint Denver, in Denver’s recently adopted inclusionary housing program, and in launching downtown recovery initiatives post-covid. Sarah is a mother of two kids and a Denver native.
