I have a BS in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois 1984. I have been working as an urban planner since graduation first employed by an Architectural firm from 1984-1991. In 1991 I founded an urban planning firm which focused on both private sector development and serving municipal and county governments. The firm previously won a National APA Award for the process in complerting a Comprehensive Plan and Downtown Plan for Liberty, MO. The planning firm was later merged with WBK Engineering, LLC to be able to provide the combined services of urban planning & civil engineering. WBK Engineering, LLC was acquired by and is Wholly Owned by Mno Bmadsen, an instrumentlity of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi. WBK Engineering is now part of the Bodwe family of companies. My work now includes a growing national footprint working with tribal comminuties either directly or through federal agency contracts. My passion for first understanding the environment and context of land and developing excellent design solutiuons continues in my current roles as Vice President of WBK Engineering, LLC and oversseing our planning group.
