Sarah Fox is the Climate & Ecosystem Section Manager at Washington State Department of Commerce. Sarah is leading the implementation of an inaugural climate law, which includes the developing planning guidance; distributing grants to cities, counties, tribes and non-profits; and rulemaking. She represents Washington state on EPA's Local Government Advisory Commission. Sarah earned a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University and is a certified planner. She has served as an elected Council Member for the City of Vancouver since 2020 and is a U.S. Army veteran.
