Karla Ebenbach, AICP, LEED Green Associate, is principal of the urban planning firm Ebenbach Consulting LLC based in Southeast Florida, where she applies planning and project management expertise to creating well planned, sustainable and climate-ready communities with private and public sector clients. Karla has been AICP-certified for over 20 years, holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and is an active volunteer with the American Planning Association, including as current Secretary-Treasurer of the Sustainable Communities Division, former Chair of the AICP Sustainability & Resilience Targeted CM Task Force, contributing author to the APA Climate Change Policy Guide, and Chair of the APA Sustainability & Resilience Series Steering Committee.
