A Black urbanist, born, raised, educated and has worked in major metropolitan areas.
Earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in urban planning and real estate development from the University of Southern California.
Formerly, a California licensed real estate appraiser, Began his planning career with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning, and has worked in such roles as a City Planner, a Zoning Administrator, and he is presently a Principal City Planner.
The speaker is a long time APA member and an AICP member since 2012.
The speaker is a longtime boardmenber of the Bridge Builders Foundation - Los Angeles, whose mission is to remove the barriers of race, poverty, ignorance, and despair through mentoring, educational support, healthcare awareness and community uplift. The speaker is an active member his block club, homeowners association and other community groups.
