Lakisha Hull, AICP, LEED AP BD+C, serves as the Planning Director of the Prince George's County Planning Department, a department within the Maryland-National Park and Planning Commission. She leads a team of over 200 staff who supports planning efforts for 26 incorporated and unincorporated areas in Prince George's County, MD. Lakisha is an expert in leading interdisciplinary teams, including transportation planners, permit reviewers, land use planners, urban designers, and architects. Spanning a 22-year professional career, Lakisha's accomplishments include code and policy updates, smart growth initiatives, streetscape plans, entitlement process and implementing large-scale development projects. Her previous roles include serving as the Planning Director of Miami, FL, Development Services Division Chief at the Charlotte Department of Transportation and City Planner at the City of Los Angeles. Her leadership resulted in successful partnerships with various stakeholders in projects with cumulative budgets over $5 billion in regional centers across the U.S. Lakisha holds a Dual Master's Degree in Architecture and City planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan.
