Helen Slade

Helen Slade is a co-founder of Territory NFP, a place-based non-profit urban design studio where young people ages 14-24 are building better futures for themselves and their communities through the hands on practice of design. As Executive Director, she is responsible for strategic initiatives and partnerships, organization operations, and fundraising. Helen is building Territory into community design center led by youth in service of the Austin community on Chicago's west side. She is an Illinois licensed architect, an experienced project manager, designer, curator, and public artist.
