Ethan Shafer (they/he) is a Planner II with the City of Colorado Springs, specializing in Land Use Planning. They hold a degree in Planning, Public Policy, and Management from the University of Oregon and have experience in Land Use Planning, Long-Range/Comprehensive Planning, and Development Review. With a passion for fostering strong, connected communities, Ethan works to ensure planning decisions reflect the needs and voices of the community.
In addition to their professional role, Ethan serves as Secretary and Treasurer for the American Planning Association's LGBTQ and Planning Division, advocating for greater inclusivity and equity in the field.
