Carlos is a transportation planner in Houston focused on walking, biking, transit, and safe streets. Inspired by the contrasts of the built environment of Houston and the frequent stays in Mexico City to visit family, Carlos works to make a car-free lifestyle a safe and accessible option for all. In his work, Carlos develops mobility and community plans, feasibility studies and analyses, and contributes to design projects to help create a resilient, reliable, and comfortable multimodal transportation network for everyone. He is passionate about elevating the voices of underserved communities, especially those neglected or damaged by previous planning practices.
