Emma Blondin is a Transportation Planner in the Traffic Safety Administration (TSA) at DDOT. She supports the design and implementation of multimodal projects in the District with a focus on retrofitting existing roadways to accommodate all roadway users. In her previous roles she managed the creation of DDOT's Arts in the Right-of-Way (AROW) program. Prior to joining DDOT, Emma worked in pedestrian safety and public space activation. She is passionate about creating safe and accessible public spaces. She holds a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from NC State University and a master's in City and Regional Planning from UNC-Chapel Hill.
