Lauren Miller, AICP (she/her/hers)

With 18 years of experience in both the U.S. and Canada, Lauren is a seasoned planning professional and a graduate of the University of Waterloo’s School of Planning in Ontario, Canada. Her expertise spans long-range and current planning within government, where she has led teams in development application review and land use enforcement, secured grant funding, and developed key policy initiatives. Lauren specializes in zoning reform, streamlining processes and fostering transparency through engagement, education, and empowerment. Recognizing the importance of supporting the next generation of planners, she is currently researching the impact of Gen Z’s transition into the workplace, while also providing career and mental health resources to planners at all levels.
