Zachary Giron

Zachary Giron is a Transportation Planner 2 within CTDOT’s Office of Transit & Ridesharing where he serves as the Electric Bus Project Lead. Zach previously worked within CTDOT’s Sustainability & Resiliency Unit where he served as the Program Manager for the Carbon Reduction Program. Zach has worked on numerous initiatives to meet the sustainability targets outlined within state legislation, earning the 2024 “Agency Changemaker Award” from GreenerGov CT. He enjoys working collaboratively across CTDOT, and other State agencies, in order to have a positive impact on CT residents.
