Tim Morstad is a Government Affairs Director for AARP’s Livable Communities national team. He leads AARP’s state and local advocacy for the high-speed internet, telecommunications, and transportation portfolios. In his prior position with AARP, Tim served as a senior associate state director for AARP Texas. In that capacity, he led AARP’s advocacy work on financial security and livable communities issues in Texas. Tim has 20 years of advocacy experience working for various nonprofit and governmental organizations. He has a bachelor’s in Political Science from the California Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School at UT Austin.
